AMD Resources is a precious metals-focussed resources company developing
its advanced exploration projects for future production.
Who we are
A capable and experienced team. Meet AMD's board and management.
The company’s initial objective to establish a JORC compliant resource has been achieved in 2019 with a maiden JORC 2012 Inferred Resource of 1.196 Mt at 5.31 g/t Au and 10.6 g/t Ag for 204,200oz of gold and 407,000oz of silver. AMD plans to advance the project towards production development by establishing an oxide reserve at the Imwauna deposit and expanding the project resource base by the exploration of other nearby prospect areas with known gold mineralisation.
The Ok Tedi River Heavy Minerals Project is an advanced tailings sand retreatment exploration project and provides the company with near term production potential. The project focusses on the substantial volumes of tailings material that have been generated from the large Ok Tedi Copper and Gold mine. In 2018, AMD successfully completed the maiden 2012 JORC Inferred Resource of 15Mt high grade magnetite, 254,919 oz recoverable gold and 5Mt sulphides
Work carried out by AMD’s JV partners has identified a 3-kilometre zone of bonanza grade silver mineralisation with associated gold in epithermal quartz vein mineralisation. To date, 16 individual veins with high-grade gold values at the surface have been discovered. The most promising, “RBZ” (previously “Rob’s Vein”), is interpreted as a series of hydrothermal breccia zones in excess of 600 metres long with surface sampling averaging 2.1g/t Au and 379g/t Ag.
Change to “The Compass Creek Gold Project comprises two ELs demonstrating Cosmo-Howley style mineralisation in the under-drilled and highly prospective Pine Creek Gold Field in the Northern Territory, which has seen in excess of 3 million oz of historical gold production.
