Burdekin Gold Project
Excellent potential for the rapid definition of a high grade >1 Moz gold resource
AMD Resources is focused on targeted exploration at the Burdekin Gold Project to increase the gold inventory of the wider project area.
AMD has a contractual right to a 50% interest in Denjim Pty Ltd, who own the Burdekin Gold Project.
The Burdekin Gold Project consists of one granted Mining Lease and three granted exploration permits covering 261km2 and includes the previously producing Hadleigh Castle Gold Mine, several known deposits and historical open pits, with the combined historic production from the Project areas being ~350koz Au.
The Project is located in the highly mineralised Charters Towers region in north Queensland.
AMD is currently carrying out an extensive regional assessment and exploration program to identify new targets.
A regional scale feature, known as the Rishton Mine Corridor Structural (RMCS), runs through the tenement package. Several historical open pits, including Hadleigh Castle, Disraeli, Joe’s Delight and Robinson Crusoe all lie along this feature.
Very sparse drilling has been conducted along the RMCS to date. AMD is planning a regional scale geophysical (IP) survey along the structure to identify priority regional drill targets.

AMD will also be conducting digital data capture and evaluation of all historical data, including the Disraeli, Joe’s Delight, Robinson Crusoe and Captains open pits.
