A newly discovered high-grade silver and gold province
The Cumberland Project comprises of five contiguous EPMs in a recently recognised epithermal gold-silver province in North Queensland, located to the North-West of the 3.5 million Oz Kidston Mine.
Recent work carried out by AMD has identified a 3 kilometre zone of bonanza grade silver mineralisation with associated gold in epithermal quartz vein mineralisation. To date, 16 individual veins with high grade gold at surface have been discovered to date. The most promising, “Rob’s Vein”, is a +650m long vein system averaging 379g/t Ag and 2.1g/t Au at surface.
AMD is targeting simultaneous commencement of drilling and soil geochemical programs in September 2018.
