Advanced high-grade gold exploration project with near-term production potential

At Normanby, AMD has a simple plan for rapid growth:

  • Establish a JORC Resource at Imwauna – Target +700 oz @ > 10g/t Au
  • Establish Reserve in Shallow Oxide Cap through shallow drilling and trenching
  • Feasibility Study in conjunction with ML Application including fast tracked environmental studies
  • Increase the Global Project Resource Base – Target +1million oz of high grade mineralisation

The Normanby Project comprises one granted Exploration Licence covering 67km2 containing 10 epithermal precious metal prospects in a highly prospective geological setting. To date, over $50m has been spent on the Project by previous operators. Strong relationships already developed with local communities and a 100-man camp and road infrastructure in place.

 

The most advanced is the Imwauna Prospect which contains a defined Exploration Target of 1.8 Mt @ 12.2 g/t Ag (706,000 Oz. Au and 1,100,000 oz. Ag). An extensive database of over 350 drill holes for 56,397 metres and 250 trenches has been completed since 1990.  Preliminary metallurgical testwork by previous operators indicate excellent recoveries using standard leach.

The Kelas and Ebessowa Prospects located to the north- west of Imwauna also demonstrate significant potential to substantially grow the mineral inventory with further exploration.
